Appletree Lodge is a modern new-build lodge at Heads of Ayr in Ayrshire, Scotland. Set in a secluded coastal location right on the Ayrshire coastal path, it sleeps up to 4 guests and has won Customers' Choice awards for both 2024 and 2025. The views across the Firth of Clyde to the Isle of Arran are exceptional and a dedicated viewing platform lets you watch sunsets over Goat Fell.

You're on the coast but never far from everyday life. A supermarket is less than a mile away and opens 7am till 10pm. An Indian restaurant, takeaway and fish and chip shop are all within easy reach.

 

About Appletree Lodge

Appletree Lodge is a modern new-build lodge at Heads of Ayr in Ayrshire, Scotland. Set in a secluded coastal location right on the Ayrshire coastal path, it sleeps up to 4 guests and has won Customers' Choice awards for both 2024 and 2025. The views across the Firth of Clyde to the Isle of Arran are exceptional and a dedicated viewing platform lets you watch sunsets over Goat Fell.

You're on the coast but never far from everyday life. A supermarket is less than a mile away and opens 7am till 10pm. An Indian restaurant, takeaway and fish and chip shop are all within easy reach. The private hot tub sits on a large L-shaped composite deck with balustrade and the firepit with included logs makes evenings outside genuinely special.

The lodge is entirely ground floor with level access and wheelchair accessibility. Bedroom one is a kingsize with a 5ft bed and en-suite bath with shower over. Bedroom two has two single beds. There's a separate walk-in shower room. The open-plan kitchen has an induction hob, dishwasher and washing machine.

Golf is a big draw here. Belleisle and Seafield courses are 1.5 miles away. Old Prestwick is 4 miles and Royal Troon just 6 miles. The Rabbie Burns birthplace and visitor centre at Alloway is 2 miles away. Culzean Castle is along the coastal route and Galloway Forest Park Britain's largest forest park is within easy reach.
