We spent a lovely week at greenacres carriage. It is a warm and cosy despite the gale force winds outside. The hot tub was an added bonus. The shower was amazing as was the comfy bed.

Had a really nice time. 10 min walk to Maybole train station and we explored the area using that. Beautiful location, very calming just lying in bed looking at the coos out the big window. Lovely little converted rail carriage. So cosy. Had almost everything we needed. Could've done with some black bags and brush and shovel provided but this is a very minor quibble. We happened to be there while storm Amy was in full flow so didn't get a chance to use hot tub. Would recommend to anyone looking for a getaway from the city or to explore the beautiful local area.

Great place to stay a little hidden gem. Very friendly owners and something completely different. It was so good we booked an extra night while there.

This is an amazing place, its quiet,clean,cosey, and has great views, the family and vi made it very welcoming for us and were so kind and they genuinely cared and wanted to make the experience great. There is a heated swimming pool my pool as well, Id highly recommend going here. Thank you vi and all the best for Xmas and new year

It was a lovely peaceful weekend away, very cosy and a lovely home feel to it. Lovely views of the countryside and the cows were great. Hot tub was relaxing after our walks. Hosts were very friendly and welcoming and were more than happy to get us anything we needed. 1010 would stay here again!

We had a beautiful stay, it's so quiet and surrounded by stunning views. The carriage has everything you could possibly need and is so cozy and barely needs heating. The hot tub is fairly simple to get going and stays nice and hot for hours. The hosts are lovely people and when they saw us would ask if everything is OK and if we needed anything. You have access to all the amenities of the caravan park and access to the pool. There's a field of cow right next to the carriage who are very friendly and like to come for a look especially when your sat outside. Again we loved it and will be back again.

Vi & Thomas at The Ranch were perfect hosts, everything we needed was provided in the lovely Carriage plus a few extra welcome touches, we wanted for nothing. Beautiful views from the balcony & hot tub was great, lovely quiet location with a visit from the cows in the evenings.

The lodge had everything we could possibly need! Beautiful views, lots of privacy and excellent facilities. Thank you Vi for the best stay! We stayed over valentines and Vi went the extra mile to make sure our stay was special. We were always well stocked up with wood for the hot tub, plenty of towelsblankets, the little details with chocolates and Prosecco upon arrival was very thoughtful and very much appreciated. Would not hesitate to book again!

Weren't told that the swimming pool was unavailable until we got there. We tried to fire up the hot tub and followed the instructions. We were told that it took 30 minutes to heat up, we checked after 30,45 and 1 hour but the water was stone cold. This basically meant sitting watching TV for 2 days which we could do at home, we decided to head home and the co owner agreed to refund us 200. We were advised that his wife would contact us to arrange this later that day, no one phoned, I called back the following day and spoke to her son who said he would get his mother to call us we are still waiting. We were contacted by Sykes who said the refund had been removed and we could have 2 nights free, given that the owner didn't have the courtesy to call us we rejected their offer. Sykes basically stated that there was nothing else they would do and when I requested their CEO email address again I didn't get the courtesy of a response. Wouldn't use them again and will ensure that none of my family and friends do either. Case of we have your money and don't care. Can I also point out that the swimming pool is still showing as available on Sykes site False advertising.

We had an amazing stay at the greenacres carriage. The lodge had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. I particularly liked all of the little touches such as shampoo, milk, juice, plenty of towels etc. The location was beautiful with stunning views and daily visits from the cows. The hot tub was perfect! We also made good use of the facilities on site. We used the childrens play parks and the swimming pool which was clean with excellent changing facilities. Would highly recommended visiting this gem!
