The Pink Castle is a spectacular 14th-century castle in Largs, Southern Scotland, sitting 2 miles from town in a peaceful countryside setting. Built using local stone and estate-harvested timber, with local craftsmen doing the work, this is a genuinely extraordinary place to stay. The hot tub and sauna (housed in one of the turrets) are usable year-round guests have used both in December.
The grounds are magnificent. Walk through the woods over a little stone bridge, play games on the lawn or dine al fresco on the patio. Sea views stretch out towards the Isles of Arran and Bute from the upper floors and the turret lookout. Peaceful and private.

Kelburn Castle and Country Park is just outside Largs (2 miles, 8 mins). Largs town centre offers independent shops and ice cream (2 miles, 7 mins). Brodick Castle on Arran is reachable by ferry (45 mins). Glasgow is accessible by train from Largs station (1 mile, 55 mins by rail).
